Our Ancient Roman Thread Spool is a reproduction of an original glass finding of the Panonnian area, ca 100-400 AD.
About our Roman glass reproductions
Our ancient Roman glass reproductions (100-400 AD) are patinated and finished with a rough surface resembling archaeological findings in museums. The glass is blown following the same techniques used by ancient Roman glass makers, with a resulting glass of very thin thickness which reduced the cost of waterproof vessels and tableware compared to clay wares such as Roman terra sigillata. Our Roman glass reproductions perfect as a present for those interested in ancient artifacts and archaeology. -
