Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844, Denmark) was one of the greatest sculptors and leader of the neoclassical movement in Rome, Italy.
Thorvaldsen sculptures were strictly classical, with more adherance to the norms than Antonio Canova's work. Among the most celebrated sculptures by Thorvaldsen are Ganymede and the Eagle, or the Cupid and Bacchus reliefs.
Our sculpture reproductions are inspired by Bertel Thorvaldsen's greatest works to serve as perfect decoration of the most elegant interiors or as a gift of European classical statuary and history.
