        Clytie was a water nymph, and in love with the sun god, Apollo, but when he abandoned her she sat broken hearted, and did nothing but stare at the sun, from rise till fall, until her limbs took root and she turned into a Sunflower, and according to Greek mythology this is the origin of Sunflowers today.

        Our sculpture is produced by a unique and proprietary dry casting process. They are made of white Carrara marble and over 90% of the finished sculpture is natural marble which gives it a look and feel of natural marble. They are finished by hand.
