Ajax sculpture, a reproduction after a copy by Giambologna, Italy, ca.1570. The copy was inspired by a Greek original created by Antigenes, currently displayed in the Vatican Museum.
A large crispy-detailed bust sculpture of Ajax with him looking to the right and wearing full battle armour. Ajax was the founder of Salamis and Cyprus, and is considered one of the greatest heroes of the Trojan War (Iliad), hence also known as "Ajax the Great".
The original Ajax sculpture by Giambologna is currently at the Château d`anet in France.
This bust can be made heavier or lighter to increase quality / reduce cost upon request.
