When Edward William Wyon`s sculpture work was seen by E.H.Baily, he was dually invited to join the Royal academy, London, in 1829.
He was well know for his portrait busts and characters from Shakespeare and other literary sources, but he could turn his hand to most topics including this master piece titled `Stepping stones`.
