  HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

  The first of the marble lions dates back to the 2nd century BC and was owned by the powerful Medici family, Italy.
  
  The Lion guarded the steps to the Villa Medici in Rome.
  
  The second lion was made by Flamingo Vacca in 1590. The pair were then moved to their present location at Loggia Dei Lanzi, Florence, in 1799.

Around 80% of the process is dedicated to hand-finishing the surface. This intensive hand-finishing is essential to bring out the stone particles and enhance the natural stone feel. Each piece is meticulously completed by our skilled artisans, guaranteeing the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.
