Our Ancient Roman Drinking Glass is a replica of an archaeological piece found in the Roman Panonnia region AD 100-400 . The glass has been hand-made, blown and patinated by our skillfull artisan. The patinating process is a propietary method achieving a rough surface such as the glass found underground.
About our Roman glass reproductions
Our ancient Roman glass reproductions (100-400 AD) are patinated and finished with a rough surface resembling archaeological findings in museums. The glass is blown following the same techniques used by ancient Roman glass makers, with a resulting glass of very thin thickness which reduced the cost of waterproof vessels and tableware compared to clay wares such as Roman terra sigillata. Our Roman glass reproductions perfect as a present for those interested in ancient artifacts and archaeology.
