  Casting with such a high marble content requires significantly more finishing work and makes large-scale mass production impossible—a key difference from resin alternatives. Around 80% of the process is dedicated to hand-finishing the surface. This intensive hand-finishing is essential to bring out the stone particles and enhance the natural stone feel. Each piece is meticulously completed by our skilled artisans, guaranteeing the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.

  Our sculptures are built to last. However, like any object placed outdoors without cover, they are subject to natural wear over time—and sculptures are no exception. Since ancient times, sculptures have required ongoing maintenance and periodic restoration. In fact, Greek and Roman statues were regularly painted and sealed for protection.
  
  We recommend inspecting your sculpture visually at least once a year. To preserve its condition, apply a water-repellent sealant every two years at a minimum. For optimal protection, one coat per year is ideal.
  
  Several factors influence the durability of outdoor sculptures:
  – Is the sculpture exposed to constant garden watering or located away from irrigation systems?
  – Is the water acidic (either from sprinklers or rainfall)?
  – How severe are the freeze–thaw cycles in your region?
  
  Sculptures should always be placed on a solid base, avoiding direct contact with wet soil.
  
  In the worst case scenario, leaving a sculpture outdoors without proper sealing can lead to visible surface damage within 1–2 winters. This often leads to micro-cracking, which, if left untreated, can result in structural damage within 2-5 winters. While restoration is possible, it is far more costly than routine maintenance such as sealing and filling minor cracks.
  
  Basic maintenance helps preserve the sculpture’s original beauty for decades—but it’s also a matter of personal preference. Some owners enjoy the natural aging and weathering that gives outdoor sculptures a more antique, time-worn character.
