Mithradates VI Eupator, King of Pontos, a bust.
A sculptured head portrait of Mithridates from antiquity, now in the V & A museum, London.
He was known as the `enemy of Rome`, and a descendant of Alexander the great.
He led the resistance of the Hellenistic East against Roman expansion in the first century BC, and he spread the banner of revolt all the way to Greece until finally defeated, after three wars, by Pompey the Great.
Our sculpture is produced by a unique and proprietary dry casting process. They are made of white Carrara marble and over 90% of the finished sculpture is natural marble which gives it a look and feel of natural marble. They are finished by hand.
