About
Our amazing Venus de Milo Garden Statue is a reduced replica of the Greek marble original from BC 130-100. This statue can be currently seen in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. The sculpture is thought to be made by the Greek sculptor, Alexandros of Antioch and believed to depict Aphrodite (or Venus in Roman mythology), the goddess of love, fertility and beauty. The statue of Venus de Milo was named after the Greek island, Milos, where it had been found.
This timeless beauty perfectly matches classical gardens.
Bonded alabaster
Our white alabaster sculpture is produced by combining white alabaster powder and resin as a binding material. This material is easily molded in order to achieve incredible details. The sculptures are finished by hand.
Alabaster is a natural stone that is alive, color can change when exposed to acid rain and modern pollutants. In other to protect the statue we recommend applying a sealant which will lengthen its life when outdoors.
